Felda Nitar 2 is located in the district of Mersing in Johor Darul Ta’zim. Mersing is the nearest city to the Felda that is about 26km away. The hilly surrounding is suitable for palm oil plantation. The area of the palm oil plantation in Felda is about 2,372 hectares from the 2,495 hectares land area that is provided by Felda. The rest of the areas, about 123 hectares are used for settlers’ residencies. This Felda people started living in this Felda in September 1984 and due to their hard work, the palm oil plantation started to operate in 1985. Besides that, Felda Nitar 2 has a jetty for the tourists’ convenience to reach Taman Negara Endau-Rompin through Sg.Lenggor. The tourist can enjoy the beauty of nature along the Sg.Lenggor during this 3 hours journey. Tourist will be mesmerised by the flora and fauna together with the sound of crickets and bird’s chirping that will entertain the tourist while crossing the river.
