he youth of FELDA Air Tawar 5 have been moving actively in every affair. Since running businesses have its fair share of profits, it is not surprising that they have made this activity their livelihood. One of them is 18 year old Syamil Mohd Zainal. Starting out his Snow Ice Blended venture in 2008, he's been able to get quite a decent income from this endeavour.
Various blended beverage flavours are sold such as strawberry, lemon, honey prom, pineapple, latte, chocolate, mocha, vanilla and also dates. Chocolate flavoured ice blended is among the hot sellers. Sold between RM1.50 to RM3.00 a glass, Syamil hopes his business would further expand and is a success and would also set a benchmark for him to be able to venture into bigger businesses.
Apart from that, the youth are also quite active in the Pertubuhan Gerakan Belia 4B (Youth 4B Movement Organisation) which would be organising all the youth activities here. Sport activities such as football, futsal and badminton are all the main activities of the youth. Their sheer determination in these sports is proven through their participation in the Football District League and also they were crowned champions in the badminton tournament organised by the District Office.
They are also active in cultural activities such as zapin and kuda kepang which are held at the Rakan Muda Activity Centre. The youth of FELDA Air Tawar 5 have always taken part in various activities as to realise the nation's objective of producing active, healthy and visionary youths.
