The serene and idyllic Kampung Gemereh is one of the villages located in the Gemereh sub district. Located near Segamat town, Kampung Gemereh is easily accessible as it is located by the primary road of Segamat-Muar. From the infrastructure aspect, this village is quite developed due to its proximity to the town. Rows of houses lined the roadside of Kampung Gemereh. Now and again, your eyes may be riveted to the lush greenery of the rubber trees planted in several areas in this village. Unfortunately, the massive flood which hit Kampung Gemereh at the end of 2006 had destroyed almost all the trees. Thus, the locals who work on the holdings had lost their source of livelihood.
