ampung Kuala Paya is a traditional village within the Buluh Kasap Sub-district in Segamat. The name Buluh Kasap is derived from a species of bamboo which can be found around the town of Buluh Kasap. The name has remained until today and the town has continued to progress in terms of sufficient facilities and infrastructure for the residents. Durian, Malaysia’s King of Fruits is another trademark of Buluh Kasap and the fruit is undoubtedly an income source for many residents here
