ungai Kob Police Station is responsible to ensure the safety in Kampung Lindungan Raja. Together in this mission are the People’s Volunteer Corps (RELA) and a fire department located in Kulim.

Kulim Hi-Tech Safety and Fire Department was built on 27 March 2000 and fully operated on 15 September 2002. It was launched by Kedah Chief Minister Y.A.B Dato Syed Razak Syed Zain on 12 October 2002. The main reason why Kulim Hi-Tech Safety and Fire Department was built is because there are many high risk industrial areas where dangerous chemical substances are being stored there.

The area of the fire department is approximately two hectares. The cost of building the main office and quarters are estimated to be RM5.5 million. This department is responsible of the safety of seven districts; Mukim Padang Meha, Padang Cina, Labu Besar, Bagan Sena, Karangan, Sedim and Mahang.
