This railway station was built in 1933 to ease the connection for Chamek villagers to communicate with outside world due to the fact that previously there is nonexistence of roads. The train that pass by the village area has brought in changes to the village and also from outsiders who is interested to do business. Due to that fact, there are plenty of changes and improvement occurred in Chamek village until the village become popular in Kluang district.
