 | | Morris pineapple is widely cultivated in the farms around Kampung Parit Haji Ali. Due to its sweetness, this type of pineapple has been a long-time favourite among the people. Its cultivation, which is best suited for peat soil, takes 10 months to bear fruits. As eighty percent of the villagers are smallholders, most of the village land is dedicated to agriculture. Besides this cultivation, the villagers are involved in the cultivation of oil palm and coffee, too. |
