ven though situated in a rural area, the villagers of Kampung Parit Haji Ariff are not left behind by modernisation. Lots of facilities and infrastructure are provided to facilitate the villagers in their activities. Among the infrastructures built for the villagers are Kampung Parit Haji Ariff Mosque and Surau Annur located in Kampung Parit Wahab.

The government has provided a few telephone booths for communication purposes. The villagers take full responsibility in caring of these telephone booths.

There is a petrol station at Permatang Duku which is about a 10-minute drive from Kampung Parit Haji Ariff. The villagers do not have to go to town to get their supply of petrol.

A few grocery shops are available in Parit Betak selling sundry goods and foods for the locals. If a good is not available here, they can get it at nearby towns like Benut and Pontian.
