 | | The remote and peaceful quaint village of Spang Loi is rich with long term plantations such as oil palm and rubber. These plantations are the key to the local settlers’ lives. The rows of oil palms and rubber trees planted at the village end have a calming effect indeed. One will be able to see a livestock farm at one end of the village. The goat and cattle farm provides the owner with a lucrative income. There is also a motorcycle workshop in this village. Thus, the villagers do not have to push their faulty motorcycles to the nearest small town for repairs. Although quite far in the interior, it is not an excuse for the villagers to neglect their efforts to improve their own standard of living. |
