he villagers here are active in rubber and oil palm cultivation which are their main source of income. The wide expanse and the suitability of the land have generated good returns.

As the country progresses rapidly, the plantation owners can take in a lot of profit. It is estimated that the revenue generated from the agricultural products can reach up to thousands of ringgit per month especially with the increase in oil palm and rubber prices in the current market situation. It seems quite unbelievable that the farmers in this village can also enjoy the high life just from the revenue gained from the agricultural products.

But there are also a few villagers who opt for small scale cash crop farming like vegetables, tapioca and sweet potatoes. All the farmed products are sold to the middlemen and marketed in surrounding villages and nearby markets.

The methods utilised by the villagers in their efforts at increasing their agricultural products in line with the current situation are by using sophisticated peripherals.  Apart from that, guidance and tools support from Rubber Industry and Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA) helped them in conducting the right and effective methods in farming and plantations.  For example, RISDA had assisted by providing rubber replanting support for the farmers in this village. Assistance amounting to RM2, 700 per acre is paid to the villagers in stages.
