Not far from Tanjung Genting, there is a tourist attraction called Air Papan. Air Papan is famous for its white sandy beach. This tourist attraction is normally visited by patrons who comes to Mersing. In Air Papan, there are public amenities such as public toilets and food stalls by the beach as well as a small mosque or “surau” for the Muslim patrons.
