 | | It is narrated that once upon a time, Haji Abdul Jabar Matinadjati from Java together with five friends as well as 39 associates sailed to Klang. They were heading towards the south (Sungai Balang) before they turned back and dropped by in Padang in which at that particular time is known as Parit Seri while cruising through the Malacca Strait.
During the cruise, they stopped by a beautiful and mesmerising beach. It was told that, when the tide is low, the beach will turn into vast scenery of white sandy beach which will make one enthralled by its beauty. The existence of an area called ‘Pantai Leka’ is believed to be inspired by this situation. Pantai Leka is actually among the earliest settlement in Pekan Parit Jawa. |
