Pulau Pemanggil is one of the islands among the many situated along the waters of Johor Darul Takzim. It is adjacent to few other islands like Pulau Aur, Pulau Besar, Pulau Rawa, Pulau Sibu and Pulau Tioman. In 1994, Pulau Pemanggil was gazetted as Malaysian Marine Park. Two nautical miles from the main land, its coastal areas are protected against fishery activities that can ruin its coral reef. Other than its priceless sea bounty, Pulau Pemanggil is also bestowed with beautiful natural environment.
