oconut trees are ample in Pulau Pemanggil and it can produce abundance of dried coconut for the inhabitants. However, the owners do not do this as the price of dried coconut is currently too low.

Furthermore, the cost to transport the dried coconut to the mainland is too expensive and exceeded the price of sold dried coconuts. The imbalance cause the owners of the coconut trees stop producing dried coconuts.   

The ample coconuts in Pulau Pemanggil are being collected by the villagers to produce coconut milk for their cooking. The young coconuts are being plucked so the coconut water can be sold to tourists who come to fish at this beautiful island.
