These three districts mutually communicate with each other although some of the villages are quite far and isolated from the town especially residents in Melamam District. Although they are far apart, the good road communication and transportation system will keep the strong relationship between residents in town and in the hinterland area.
Residents of Pekan Sipitang live in harmony and respect each other although they have a different background in terms of religion, culture and race. To keep up the strong relationship, various cultural and artistry programs was held such as Gata Festival, Fruits Festival, Tengganti Festival and many more and at the same time to attract domestic and international tourist.
