he youths are the nation’s most important assets. The youths are the nation's hope to achieve a better future in this era of high technology and globalisation. For the youths of Taman Perbadanan Islam, including Kampung Kurnia, their free time is always filled meaningfully.

Some of the youths are actively involved in the kompang (a traditional percussion instrument) group which is headed by their very own village chief. Usually the kompang is played only during certain traditional ceremonies such as weddings and other village activities. There are even kompang playing tournaments honouring the age old traditional musical instrument.
