It is under the Gelang Patah Parliamentary Constituency which is part of the Iskandar Development Region (IDR). The distance from Johor Bahru to Taman Sri Pulai is approximately 25 kilometres. This housing estate is situated near the Pontian – Johor Expressway and is adjacent to the University Technology Malaysia, Skudai and abutting the Pulai Spring Golf Resort. It is also located near the Second Link Highway to Singapore.
